Filming Miriam Nakamoto's miniseries

The summer heat in Las Vegas was brutal as we met up with Miriam Nakamoto to document her comeback journey. Despite the challenges she has faced in her storied career, you could see the determination in her eyes. Her story has seen both the highest peaks and lowest valleys.

As a veteran fighter, Miriam holds a glittering record of 16-0 in Muay Thai and is an 8-time world Muay Thai champion. She is also an accomplished female boxing champion and mixed martial artist with her list of accomplishments as follows:

In 2013, her full-steam ahead career came to a halt with a devastating knee injury during an Invicta FC bout. This turn of events has led her on a journey ever since to get back to where she belongs...in the ring with the victory.
